Bench Weight Set: Free Weight Training Gives You Results

Resistance training and building strength and lean mass can be effectively accomplished with a set of free weights. You don’t necessarily need a full blow, commercial quality Olympic weight training equipment to accomplish this. All you need to get started is an all-in-one bench weight set package you can find at Walmart or Megafitness.

Free Weights Equipment Vs. Exercise Machines

You can obtain results from training with strength training machines such as a universal home gym, but often times these machines are more expensive than a pair of dumbbells, a barbell, and a weight bench. Also, resistance training with free weights will yield faster and more effective results compared to working out with an exercise machine.

The drawback of training with free weights is that you may need a spotter for certain lifts. Exercises such as the bench press requires a spotter to ensure safety (especially if you’re using a heavy weight). But the benefits of having a spotter are that you have someone there to workout with and someone to motivate you to push that very last rep.
