3. “I need to commit a lot of time during the week to exercise”

Some people think that you need to spend hours a day exercising with weight training equipment to get anywhere. Wrong! As little as 20 minutes a day, 3-4 times a week will get you fit and healthy.

4. “No pain, no gain!”

This is a common saying among the bodybuilding crowd, but you don’t need to exercise strenuously to reap the benefits of working out. And the “no pain, no gain” mentality can actually be detrimental to your goals.

If you associate pain with exercise, then in the end, you might not do it! Regular, moderate exercise with the right fitness equipment or workout machine is all you need for fitness.
