Tony Little Gazelle Exercise Equipment
Promising a toned body and great workout, the gazelle exercise equipment is one of the many fitness products advertised on television. This seen on tv exercise equipment is promoted by fitness guru Tony Little. Love him or hate him, the gazelle exercise machine has a greater longevity than most exercise gadgets that are show on television infomercials.
The gazelle looks like mix between a cross country machine and an elliptical trainer. Its low impact design makes the gazelle suitable for those who have joint problems. The machine allows you to lean forward or backwards, which moves the resistance to a different part of your body. For example, if you lean forward, you’ll feel more tension in your chest and biceps, and if you lean backwards, you’ll target your back and triceps. Also, bending your knees while working out on the gazelle will simulate a low impact jog.
On the Gazelle Power Plus model, you can adjust the resistance using the “power pistons”. Basically, there are 3 resistance levels on the Gazelle Power Plus, and changing them will provide you with a beginner, intermediate and advance workout. The problem is you’ll have to get off the gazelle in order to change the resistance. Also, at all resistance, unless you’re someone who has never exercised before, you might find the advance resistance on the gazelle too easy for you.
Overall, Tony Littles Gazelle exercise machine is a decent piece of cardio equipment and it’s relatively cheap. But keep in mind, for most people, the resistance level is too easy, so you might be better off investing in a treadmill or elliptical trainer.
