The Truth About As Seen On TV Ab Exercise Equipment

The way abdominal exercise equipment are marketed on TV is with just one ab exercise equipment, you’ll get six pack abs in no time at all.

You probably heard of 6 Second Abs, the Ab Roller, Smart Abs, Total Tiger, Ab Swing, Ab-Trainer, and probably many more seen on tv abdominal exercise equipment gadget. Ever since the dawn of infomercials on TV, there has always been a home exercise equipment that specifically targets our most problem body part; our stomachs.

Although these home fitness equipment that targets the abdominal muscles actually exercise the abs to a certain degree, using the equipment alone will not produce the results you want.

The abdominal machine infomercials tend to pray on a fitness fallacy known as “spot reduction”. Basically, this means that you believe that exercising a body part (in this case, your abs) will allow you to lose fat in that particular area. But ask any fitness professional and they’ll tell you that spot reduction is false.

Unfortunately, many people subscribe to this fitness fallacy, and the most problem area for most people is their stomachs. The fitness equipment manufacturers know this, and they continue to produce new abdominal gadgets year after year.

The best way to lose the stubborn belly fat is really quite simple. Eat healthy, exercise with a total body workout routine, and do your cardio. However, you probably won’t see many as seen on TV exercise equipment that will promote this all at once compared to the army of ab gadgets and gizmos.
