Lat Pull Down Home Gym Weight Lifting
Lat pull down home gym weight lifting – the lat pull down is a common exercise component in many home gym machines. They can be found on machines based on a weight stack, Bowflex, Crossbow, and plate loaded equipment.
Using this back exercise at home, the pull-down is effective to strengthen the latissimus dorsi, biceps and forearm muscles. There are a few ways to perform the pull-down:
Pull-Downs Towards the Chest
• During this variation, the bar is pulled downward towards your chest. The hand position can be facing you or facing the machine.
Behind the Neck Pull-Downs
• A wide grip is used on the bar, and the bar is pulled behind your neck.
Close Grip Pull-Down
• Using special handles where it positions your palms closing and facing each other, this exercise places emphasis on the brachialis and brachioradialis as well as the back.
