Home Exercise Routine
A home exercise routine can be a time saver compared to working out at your local fitness club. But sometimes, even when you exercise with the workout equipment in your house, you’re still pressed on time. Whether it is because of your career, family matters, or any other factors, things get in the way of your plan to stay in shape. You still need to exercise despite what little time you have. Here are some tips on home exercises that will save you time:
Increase the Intensity of the Exercise
If you’re spending an hour exercising on the treadmill running at an easy pace, or if you’re working out with a light weight and high reps, try increasing the intensity of the exercise. Increase the speed of the treadmill, or increase the load of the weight you’re working out. This will give you a harder workout while cutting your time.
Decrease Exercise Rest Time
If you’re working out with a home gym or free weights, time your rest periods. Plan to decrease your rest periods to 30-45 seconds. This will get your heart pumping faster and your muscles working harder. You’ll move through you workout faster than having a longer rest period.
