Golds Gym Home Gyms: The Powerflex
The Powerflex is one of Golds Gym home gyms that bear a striking resemblance to the Bowflex and the Weider Crossbow/Crossbar (you can see the picture at the Gold’s Gym home page). This home exercise equipment allows you to perform over 65 different exercises, comes with 210lbs of resistance which is upgradable to 310-410lbs. The Gold’s Gym Powerflex home gym utilizes a system of cables, pulleys and bands for resistance.
The Powerflex home gym is designed to give you a full range of motion for every exercise. The pulleys swivel so they always stay in line with your lift. This feature gives you a more natural and customized feel when working out with the home gym.
At an estimated retail price of $399, the Gold Gym’s Powerflex is significantly less than the Bowflex, and is a direct competitor to the Weider Crossbow/Crossbar home gyms.
