Exercises to do at Home without Any Workout Equipment
You can get a calorie burning, muscle building workout without having to leave your house. If you already have a home gym, free weights, and a cardio machine, that’s great. But if you don’t, you can perform home exercises without the need for any workout equipment. Here are some tips for exercises to do at home without any equipment:
Calisthenics Exercises
Push ups, pull ups, bodyweight squats, crunches and leg raises can be combined into one heart pumping workout. If you arrange the exercises by ones that target a large muscle group to the smallest, and then go through each exercise one at a time without a break, you have a circuit training workout. Example, the exercise order could be squats, pull ups, pushups, leg raises and crunches. Perform 10 repetitions, and move onto the next exercise without a break. Once you’ve completed the circuit, rest for 2 minutes, and then repeat the circuit 4 times. If you feel that this workout routine is too easy for you, you can always substitute exercises such as the squat with lunges or jump squats, or simply increase the number of repetitions.
In sum, if you want to workout at home, or you want to take a break from exercising with your home gym, then a circuit training calisthenics workout routine is sure to burn calories!
