At Home Exercise Techniques to Keep You Motivated

If you’re running on the treadmill, rowing on a rowing machine or using an elliptical trainer, chances are you’re performing the exercise for a long period of time to get the best cardiovascular workout. However, cardio training can get very monotonous, and exercising on an aerobics machine can get very boring! To add some excitement to your workouts, here are some at home exercise techniques to make the time fly when you’re training with an aerobic exercise machine:

At Home Exercises While Watching a TV!

Who says only coach potatoes watch television? You can watch your favorite TV show while working out at the same time. Exercising while watching television makes the time fly, because the show will take your attention off of the workout. You can turn on the TV before you exercise, or record your favorite show in advance and play it when you workout.

Workout While Listening to an Audio Book

Some people can get way with working out and reading at the same time, but if you’re on an exercise machine that requires you to use your upper body, this is difficult to do. A solution to this is to listen to an audio book while you exercise at home (you can borrow them from the library).

Overall, exercising at home can be fun while you watch TV, and you can even get an education from audio books while you workout!
